Positive: The entrance + stairs are dreadful. It is not an enormous flat at all. The bathroom was awful. One bed in the lounge + a horrible looking setteee we couldn't even sit on. The patio was nothing more than an ugly roof + all the parking all around is resident only. We booked into a hotel instead. We are all travellers around the world, India, Egypt, + lots of Asia + often so often downscale but not this time, I'd give it a minus. Sad. Negative: All of the above

Positive: Really easy to check in, clean, comfortable and staff were really easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again!

Warm and lovely host, decent accommodation Positive: My family came to visit for a week. The accommodation is located in a nice street in East London. The host was very responsive and had warm and great communication. The instructions were clear and we had no issue to get in. Negative: I would not say the accommodation is ‘enormous’. The cleaning was not up to scratch and I believe that a few basic items are missing ie sugar. You need a good walk to reach the nearest overground station - not easy with little ones.

It didn’t happen because the host did not leave a key. Positive: We didn’t get to stay at the property. Negative: We arrived at the property at 8pm, used the codes we had been sent to access the building door, got in. Then used the access code for the door to the apartment. The code worked by the door was clearly locked from the inside and would not open. We spent TWO HOURS trying to reach the host. We called the number available to us, sent iMessages and WhatsApp’s and did not hear anything. It was until we managed to speak to someone at booking.com who sent an official email to the host that we heard from them. Two hours later. They then tried to make it seem like we were typing the code in wrong. We sent video footage of what was happening. They then passed us on to someone else, who informed us it would take at least another hour to get a key to us to let us in. At this point we were absolutely exhausted and just wanted somewhere to stay so we informed the host because of their bad planning and not adhering to basic needs of guests, we would not stay. We were given a full refund, but it was just an absolutely ridiculous experience. I’m not sure I would recommend staying somewhere that you can’t be certain of being able to get in to.

Perfect for what we needed. Positive: Communication was excellent, location was perfect for what we needed. Negative: One of the bedrooms was really bright, due to the time of the year the apartment was very hot 🥵
