Seven Sisters Retreat

Well-connected location but a run-down neighborhood; small apartment with a barely usable bathroom Negative: The apartment was visibly leaning to one side. The bathroom sink was ridiculously small and effectively unusable. The carpets in the rooms were unacceptably dirty. The entrance and the stairs leading to the apartment were narrow and sloping, with objects in the way.

Overall, the stay was adequate Positive: The property was in a decent location, with an Underground station and multiple bus stops nearby, making it easy to get around. Negative: Overall, the property was okay, but there were several issues that affected our stay. There were only two toilet rolls provided, both of which were almost empty, and there were no spare rolls available, so we had to buy our own. I would have expected enough basic supplies to last the duration of the stay. There was also only one mirror in the bathroom. A full-length mirror elsewhere in the property would have been appreciated, as it’s useful when getting ready before going out. The clock in the property had no batteries. This is only a minor issue, but if a clock is provided, it should be in working order. Unfortunately, there were stains on the bedding, which gave the impression that it hadn’t been checked properly before our arrival. Privacy was also an issue, as the curtains did not fully cover the window, leaving gaps where people could potentially see inside. The overall cleanliness could have been better. The skirting boards were dusty, the fan was covered in dust, and the shower curtain had noticeable yellow staining around the bottom, making the property feel like it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. Finally, the shower was difficult to use because it wouldn’t maintain a consistent temperature, repeatedly changing between hot and cold throughout use. These are all relatively straightforward issues to address and would make a significant difference to future guests’ experience.

Decent Positive: - close to the stadium - Enough space for 3 people - Normal bed was comfortable - Included a fan and enough towels for 3 people - Communication was good to and from - Let us check in early - price was good for location Negative: - sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but worked - bathroom sink was quite small however I know this cannot be changed - place was hot and had no air con but for the price and being second floor we expected this - slight stains on a few of the sheets but nothing major

Negative: No air conditioning

Seven sisters located big flat but dirty Positive: The locationa and the staff was nice. Negative: We booked for three people but only the bed for two was prepared. Luckily there was an extra sheet and pillow in the wardrobe. The room smelled like fish n chips and the floor were dirty. On saturday they had a party long into the night at the restaurant downstairs so we couldnt sleep. We could hear the beat until really late (4am). The shower is really dirty.
